River Oaks Golf Course, located right on the Little Calumet River in the neighboring River Oaks area, is a true challenge for players of all levels. With a river and several small lakes, water plays an important role on 14 of the 18 holes.

However, avoiding the water is only part of the challenge. The course is also equipped with 58 carefully placed sand traps that add an extra layer of difficulty.

The course is under the care of the Cook County Forest Preserves and is Audubon Internationally Certified, which confirms its ecological connection to the surrounding nature.
